I'm currently about two weeks away from completing my first full flash animation, "Appearances." It's taken me quite a long time so far, not just because I'm a master procrastinator, or because I spend too much time at the Flash Portal, but also because it's been a lot of work and a lot of learning. I've been an Artist my whole life but animation and flash animation in general is a whole new ballgame for me, and aside from some basic tutorials, I'm self taught. I don't have too much left to do, but at my current pace two weeks sounds like a good goal.
I currentlly have 1438 frames animated, at 12fps (If I could start over it'd be 24fps, but this whole thing has been a good (and sometimes frustrating) learning experience)

My wife has been on holiday leave the past couple weeks which has been cool having her home, but as a result of which I haven't had any chance to work on my animation... at all, so it'll still be awhile. Maybe I'll get some late night animation in while she's asleep.

So I've gotten a bit more done this week, Done a lot of reviewing too though I guess Newgrounds is probably one of my worst vices when it comes to procrastination from what I should be doing, but hey, I might mot be animating this at all if not for newgrounds so I guess it's kind of a catch 22.
