wow

Sounds like a mix between straight Chicago blues and some Hendrix style acid rock. This is only the second song of yours I've checked out but I can tell you have a pretty impressive range in your blues. Nice solo all in all I wish it was a full song, but this still deserves a 10

BloodFest responds:

Thanks a lot for listening to my stuff, I'm glad you liked it. You can listen to the full song, link for that one is up there.

Cheers

impressive

I only wish I could play blues like you, this is freaking awesome. his is a really good example of a delta style 12 bar. You should put out a CD. How long have you been playing for?

BloodFest responds:

Many thanks, I feel very flattered.
I've been playing for around 10 years, I'm a metalhead who has played metal since the beginning but I certainly have a great passion for the blues, I think that without the blues there won't be no music at all! haha

Cheers!

Sweeet

All I can say is that you have some amazing chops when it comes to drum tracks, this song especially though, The rhythm is steady enough to be used for just about anything, but the other aspects of the song fit perfectly, the intro's really nice too. This ones going in my favorites.

Gorgorothx responds:

Thanks, Syd. I'm really glad you enjoyed this. I mean structurally it's quite "different", and I think that's why alot of people can dig it ;) Cheers for your good review, and for stopping by!

Nice

I'm totally not a techno or trance fan but one thing I always dig is your skill and creativity in music which when someone gives true artistry to their song, it will be good no matter what the genre. And that's what you've definitely done here, GREAT work on a very fluid, fast paced but coherent melody, I think what sets this apart for me from the average techno song also is not just the quality of the memory, but the fact you avoided the repetitiveness of most techno songs, while still maintaining the cool high energy aspect. I could see this being used in both animations or maybe even for commercial purposes, I wish I could give more constructive criticism on this one, but I really can't think of any improvements to it, I can tell though, as your new songs are released, you really are mastering your craft one song at a time.

Gorgorothx responds:

Thanks, Syd! Your criticisms are always so nice to read. I'm actually not a huge fan of mainstream techno/trance stuff either, I'm just kinda testing my abilities and new vst's to see what I can pump out of the music grinder. Thanks for stopping by man, and let me know when your flash project is finished so I can check it out ;)

nice

Very good beat work, the melody is good too, one of the instruments though, the one that starts the overlapping melody kind of sounds a bit too synthesized though, which somewhat cuts through the underlying melody, Melodically they match well, but instrument wise they kind of clash, You know what I mean, overall though, I think this is a nice ambient piece, very chill, and I definitely am digging it.

Gorgorothx responds:

Thanks, El Syd. I was pretty overwhelmed trying to come up with something to go with the "airy" background noise. I settled with the 8-bit sound 1. because I like 8-bit type sounds, and 2. because I wanted it to be more of the focus of the song. Thanks so much for your review!

Interesting

Has a cool ambient feel to the back-rhythm, which when combined with the cymbal/hihat give it a really cool mysterious and futuristic feel, the sharp turnaround still has a good use of the hihat, but gets kind of jazzy which would be a good point for scene transition if this was used in flash animation, or in a game I would suggest anyone using it changes the landscape to be more colorful temporarily during the change, all in all it would be very interesting to see how animators will use this unique piece to their advantage, keep it up Gorgorothx.

Gorgorothx responds:

Thanks El-Syd, your reviews are always great!

nice

Nice intro starting off, as the song goes along, you do a good job of blending in/ adding in each new instrument and beat, the song also has a good pace which seems to slow down at points and speed up at others having distinctly different parts to it, which I think makes it very cool and more enjoyable than songs which are overrepetitive, it also lets me know that you spent a good amount of time actually planning the song out. And it really payed off. The overall feel of the song is kind of futuristic, but mellow, and would be a great song to use in a variety of types of flash videos. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I really enjoyed giving it a listen.

Gorgorothx responds:

I appreciate every word. *bows* Thanks so much El-Syd for your in-depth review.

Nice fast pace

Like a sound bombardment, It may not be for everyone, but I'm definitely digging this, it kicks ass.

Pissomatik responds:

That's exactly what I've been saying about my musik. It's really not for everybody. But thank you, it makes me feel good to know that at least one person liked it. Hmm.....you don't happen to like speedbass or even speedcore do you?

Very nice

I could definitely see this being used fo rand epic game or movie, very good composition on your part, I'm impressed.

SniperSnake19 responds:

A friend of mine mentioned medal of honor when he heard this. hehe

I guess its got a good feel to it for those kind of things. Very glad you like it.
As long as a couple of people get a kick out of it I'm quite happy.

hehehe

Yeah you definitely titled this one right, but I could see it being used a lot on fast paced scenes.

Madanimation responds:

Yes I did. I may make an animation for this song.
