Nice movement
Matches well with the music, and, yeah, you should definitely make more.
Cool. What do you think about the art?
Top Notch Animation
The style itself has such great character to it. You are a frame by frame MASTER! Everything looks so creatively done, none of that generic stuff we all get so used to seeing here. You are truly revered.
Nice
this as really well done, and very well produced. The direction is excellent, and the humor is perfectly timed at the end there. AllI can really say is... well done.
hell yes
This is truly flash at it's finest, I'm impressed. This is extremely original, yet it speaks to everyone who feels they've been "processed" by the system. Keep up the great Flash.
hmmm
Not bad as far as spam flashes go I guess, but they do offer that now as a genre choice in the submission form, so you may as well label it that rather than "experimental" (original or unexpected)since this type of film has been done before and comes through the portal hundreds of times a day. I'm all for you making as many flashes as you want but have pride as a spammer at least and label it as that. Because as far as spam goes this might actually be more of a 7 or 8 out of ten, but as experimental it's about a one.
hmmm
I like Dragonball Z too, but the way to express your entusiasm for something should not necessarily be to try to copy it, especially when you're doing it at a graphically lower level ie swtick figures, now don't get me wrong fan flashes can be ok and so can sticks, but they don't work very well combined. If you were spoofing a live action show this may be different, but you cannot emulate high detail animation with low detail animation, of the same or similar story and characters. I'd say your best bet is either to create a DBZ INSPIRED flash with different characters and plotline using current animation technique, or if you do want to try to make something someone will watch, make a DBZ flash, but make it well, draw it out don;t use sticks and take your time, even if it takes you months, because the end result will be worth it. Bottom line, better animation, or more original story one or the other, (both would be nice but are not necessarily necessary I suppose) .And keep in mind I'm not knockin' ya here, so don't think I am, I just see that you have potential and the drive to animate, so I want to make sure you don't sell yourself short. Good luck in your future animations
Well i like stick figure animations while I do agree I have alot to learn I do need to take mor etime as well. I'v tried full bodies i'm just not a fan of them I prefer stick figure animations lol. I do plan on working on the next one for a lot longer then this one and making it longer with a better story. Thanks for the review and tips :).
hmmm
definitely not a bad starting point, right off the bat though, I have to say watch thoes white bars on the side of the screens cahnces are you entered a different aspect ratio when submitting than you actually made it in. Be careful not to do that as it gives it a very lazy look. Also I wanted to say good use of sound and music, it did add to the overall effect. One thing though, is in the first of the series, you may want to find a subtle way to introduce the characters, which will help to get the audience more into your story, because without giving your characters identities, they are just pictures on a screen. Overall though, it's a good start for the first of a series. Looking forward to seeing more!
pretty good
the aspect ratio kind of killed it though since it had white bars on both sides. Make sure you submit it in the same aspect ratio you made it in originally to avoid this.
Sorry about that. I thought that the aspect ratio was 650 x 350. It obviously isnt.
I just checked the FLA & it's supposed to be 650 x 375. I'll resubmit it in the right aspect ratio. thanks for telling me.
